Empty Bowls is the annual (and only) fundraiser for Community Cafe.
Local artisans create beautiful, handmade bowls. Local restaurants donate their best soups.
Held at the TimberLake Lodge during the month of October, people gather to sample all sorts of different soups, provided by local restaurants, along with TimberLake's Ceasar salad and breadsticks. A variety of sweet treats are locally baked for dessert. In the center of the event, you walk around large displays, and select a unique bowl, made by local bowl throwers and artisans, which you can take home. There are hundreds of bowls from which to choose. Local musicians provide an enjoyable backdrop for food and conversation. Come with coworkers for lunch or bring your family for dinner. Take-home options are available, if you don't have time to stay.
